NEW YORK (PIX11) – A 2.1-magnitude earthquake shook upstate New York on Tuesday, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The earthquake hit roughly 269 miles north of New York City. The epicenter of the earthquake was located around 7 miles from Elizabethtown, according to the USGS.

This quake comes almost two months after a 4.8-magnitude quake was felt by millions in the northeast when it shook an area of northern New Jersey.
