Israel Intercepts Drone Launched From Gaza, IDF Says

The drone was shot down over Gazan territory, according to the Israeli military

Israel’s missile defense system intercepted a drone that was fired from the Gaza Strip onto its territory on Saturday, the Israeli army said. 

The unmanned aircraft was shot down over the Gaza Strip, according to the IDF, and noted that areas surrounding the border with Gaza should not be on alert.

Late on Thursday night, Israel Defense Forces bombed the Gaza Strip after its defense system intercepted missiles from militant groups in the coastal enclave.
